Battle For Christ Judges
Legacy is proud to announce the Judges for the Battle for Christ. Judging will be conducted by members of the music community from each city's region. Our partnership with numerous radio stations, producers, artists, and industry leaders have allowed us to select top notch individuals to serve as judges for our events. Below, we have listed the confirmed Judges for the various events:

Kevin Ward
Dove Award Winning Engineer, Producer, & Author
Kevin Ward is co-owner of Vine Records in Nashville, TN. He has become one fo the most sought-after engineers and producers in Gospel music, having mixed over 80 top 10 songs. He has been nominated for multiple awards throughout recent years, including in 2008, when he walked away with more than nominations; 2 Dove Awards. 2008 was also a great year for Vines Records. The label was was nominated for 9 Dove Awards in multiple categories.
Kevin Ward Accepting One of Two Awards
Not only do his talents lie in musical production, but he is an accomplished songwriter as well. His song, Teach Me To Love Like That was nominated for Bluegrass Song of the Year at the 35th Annual Dove Awards.
In 2007, he was given the Southern Gospel Music Guild's Creative Support Award, and received the "Engineer of the Year" award at the SGN Music Awards in 2008.

Andrew Baker Concert Promoter, Ichthus
Andrew Baker represents Ichthus Music Festival in Wilmore, Kentucky, where he has done the Edge Stage booking and production for four years. Andrew also does local festival booking for the Festival of the Horse in Georgetown. KY, as well as for churches in the central Kentucky area. Currently lending his time as a booking agent with 333 Artist Agency, and volunteering as a multi-instrument musician with local schools, libraries and his own home church, Andrew understands the life of a musician first hand. Andrew’s other contributions to the Christian music industry include booking events for Christian Appalachian Project, work as a writer for an online youth social networking website, work as an online radio programmer for two stations, and stage production for a showcase stage at GMA Week in 2009. Andrew is an avid supporter of Ichthus and of Christian Music, attending the festival himself as a teen, he has seen hundreds of bands come across the stage. Since the beginning of his involvement with Ichthus, Andrew has booked over 100 indie bands to play the Edge Stage. |
_____________________________________________________________________ Kris Love Kris Love, Morning Show Host, LOVE FM 89.1 Kris hosts the "Morning Show" with Marisa Lykins on Knoxville's FM Love 89. He serves as Music Director for both Love 89 WYLVV and Life 88.3 WDLF Knoxville. He is the Creator, Host, and programmer of the weekly rock show, "The Friday Night Ruckus" on Love 89 WYLV Knoxville (10-Midnight Fridays). Additionally, he created, hosts, and serves as programmer for the weekly Tennessee indie artist showcase "The Detour" on Love 89 WYLV Knoxville.(Sundays 7-8pm) in which features local and independent singer/songwriters, groups and bands. Prior to radio, he worked five years in Christian Music retail as the Music Dept manager at Cedar Springs Christian Store (one of the largest in the nation).
